What an hourly 50,000-row BigQuery sync actually costs

We priced one identical data job across twelve tools that load into BigQuery, on monthly billing, using each vendor's public pricing page. Where a vendor doesn't publish the number, we say so.

Last updated . Prices are monthly billing (not annual), taken from each vendor's public pricing page unless marked. Tools that meter every loaded row see about 36M rows a month for this job: 50,000 rows × 720 hourly runs. Fivetran meters monthly active rows, counted once a month per table, so the same job is about 815,000 MAR once nested child tables are included. Estimates assume about 200 bytes per row (about 7.2 GB a month). † Not published by the vendor; the figure is a starting price or third-party report.

How each tool prices this job

Flatly
Rollingpin syncs hourly and allows up to 10M cells per file, so a 1M-cell job fits. All plans include all destinations. Flatly pricing
Windsor.ai
Hourly refresh starts on Standard ($99 billed annually). Basic refreshes daily. All plans include all destinations, BigQuery included. No row limits are published; Standard allows 7 data sources. Windsor.ai pricing
Skyvia
Standard is the lowest plan with hourly scheduling. Skyvia meters records, with Standard tiers from 500K to 200M a month and $0.06 per 1,000 extra records. The price of the tier that covers this job isn't published on the pricing page. Skyvia pricing
Estuary
Estuary charges $0.50 per GB plus $100 a month per connector instance. Data is counted when captured and again when delivered, so about 7.2 GB becomes about 14.4 GB. Two connectors plus data is about $207. The free Developer tier (10 GB, 2 connectors) doesn't cover double-counted volume. Estuary pricing
Hevo Data
Hevo bills events, meaning each record inserted, updated or deleted in the destination, so a full refresh is about 36M events and needs the 50M tier. Starter syncs hourly. The pricing page shows $299 a month but doesn't say which event tier that price is for, and on-demand overage has no published rate. Hevo Data pricing
Boomi Data Integration (Rivery)
Charges 0.5 credits each time a table is ingested from an API source, plus 0.5 per extra 50 MB. Hourly runs of one table use about 360 credits a month. Base allows syncs every 60 minutes. The per-credit price isn't published: a third-party listing shows $0.90 and the free trial values credits at $1.20. Boomi Data Integration (Rivery) pricing
Airbyte
API sources use 6 credits per million rows, and full refresh charges every row, so this job needs about 216 credits. Standard ($20, 5 credits) syncs hourly but would need about 211 extra credits. Plus's 250-credit package is $999 a month and syncs every 15 minutes. Airbyte pricing
Portable
Flat price by enabled flows, with no volume caps. Standard is $1,800 a month for 6 flows and syncs as often as hourly, with warehouse destinations included. Portable pricing
Integrate.io
One flat plan at $1,999 a month with unlimited volume and pipelines, and syncs as often as every 60 seconds. BigQuery is listed among supported destinations. Integrate.io pricing
Fivetran
Fivetran bills monthly active rows (MAR), counted per table, so nested data counts too. In the Freshdesk connector, each ticket fans out into child tables: conversations, conversation email and attachment rows, tags, ticket email lists, satisfaction ratings and time entries. 50,000 active tickets come to about 800,000 MAR, above the Free plan's 500,000 limit, so this job needs paid Standard. Fivetran doesn't publish its per-MAR rate; Standard connections carry a $5 minimum each. Fivetran pricing
Stitch
Stitch counts every row in a fully replicated table on every run, so this job is about 36M rows and needs the 50M-row Standard tier. Standard starts at $100 for 5M rows, but the price of the 50M tier isn't published. Stitch pricing
Supermetrics
Starter ($55) and Growth ($222) cover spreadsheet, BI and AI destinations only. BigQuery and other data warehouse destinations require Enterprise, which is quote-only. Supermetrics pricing

Frequently asked questions

What's the cheapest way to sync data into BigQuery hourly?
Flatly's Rollingpin plan syncs hourly for $49 a month, followed by Windsor.ai Standard at $118. Fivetran's Free plan looks cheaper, but its 500,000-MAR limit counts nested rows: 50,000 Freshdesk tickets come to about 800,000 MAR once conversations, tags and emails are included.
Is there a cheaper alternative to Fivetran for BigQuery?
Fivetran is free up to 500,000 monthly active rows, but nested records count as separate rows, so 50,000 Freshdesk tickets use about 800,000 MAR and need a paid plan. Flatly's Rollingpin plan syncs hourly for a flat $49 a month with up to 10M cells per file.
Is there a cheaper alternative to Airbyte for BigQuery?
Airbyte charges 6 credits per million rows from API sources, and full refresh counts every row, so an hourly 50,000-row sync needs its $999 Plus package. Flatly syncs the same job hourly for $49.
Why are Portable and Integrate.io so expensive here?
They charge flat fees built for teams moving large volumes across many pipelines. Volume is unlimited, but the entry price is $1,800 to $1,999 a month whether you move 50,000 rows or 50 million.
Why does the same job cost so differently on row-based tools?
Tools meter differently. Stitch, Hevo and Airbyte count every row they load, so an hourly full refresh of 50,000 rows is about 36M rows a month; incremental syncs only count rows that changed since the last run. Fivetran counts each row once a month, however often it syncs.
